Practitioner training programmes
The recently launched BSI Standards in Psychosocial Risk Management are quickly becoming the recognised approach for regulation in the industry. To address the increasing demand for certified practitioners, Working for Wellbeing, have developed a series of training programmes aimed at individuals looking to work in accordance with the new standards.
The approved course content is specifically designed for experienced individuals wishing to work as a consultant practitioner in the workplace. Delegates are required to have an existing knowledge of the subject which meets the minimum specified requirements. However, those that are new to the industry have the option to attend the Working for Wellbeing Foundation Training Programme to gain the entry level knowledge.
Certified practitioners will be safe in the knowledge that they are offering a professional and regulated service to any organisation interested in their particular field of expertise. In addition, they will be listed on the exclusive Working for Wellbeing register, an advanced administration system which will include the details of every certified practitioner and their relevant work history since certification. This tightly regulated procedure will mean that every practitioner will be equipped with a measurable qualification and a process to qualify performance, meaning that for the first time, managing stress in the workplace will become completely transparent and essentially, more effective.
This register will be available to all relevant parties, including insurers and employers, and the system will include an assessment process that will be recorded against both the service provider and service user. This will mean that practitioners will be protected by a tightly regulated national administration system and an audit trail of their services.
An additional "Train the Trainer" Presentation Skills Programme is also available for anyone interested in becoming a certified Working for Wellbeing trainer and delivering the practitioner courses across the country.
